"And he gave some, apostles; and some,
prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the
perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying
of the body of Christ:" - Ephesians 4:11-12
If you are a family of one or ten, you are a special part of the Fleming
Island Baptist Church Family. Every member and visitor of our Church is
very important to the Lord and to our fellowship. You are loved, needed
and valuable to the ministry of the Lord’s Church in and through our
fellowship. We desire that everyone “grow in grace and in the knowledge
of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be glory both now and
forever. Amen.” (2 Peter 3:18)
Consider the following verses in references to our church family: ( Eph
3:14-21) 14 . . .”I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus
Christ, 15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, 16
That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be
strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; 17 That Christ
may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in
love, 18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth,
and length, and depth, and height; 19 And to know the love of Christ,
which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness
of God. 20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above
all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, 21
Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages,
world without end. Amen.”
Remember that the Lord God loves you and we love you too. The Lord has a
wonderful plan for your life. You have a special place in the Lord’s
Church as part of the Fleming Island Baptist Church Family. We are
praying for the Lord to show you His place of service in and through His
church.
